STUDY GROUPS

Whether you already enjoy weaving tapestry or might be interested in learning how to get started, we invite you to join the Tapestry Study Group. This friendly group brings together tapestry weavers from newbies to experts to share ideas and information, ask questions, show and tell of projects, practice various tapestry techniques and enjoy each others company as we learn. This is an informal group that sets the focus of the next meeting based on collective input from the group. Check the calendar for dates/times.

Do you spin? Would you like to learn or explore more about spinning? The Spinning Study Group would like to invite you to join us at the studio once a month to learn, chat and be a part of this informal community within the Guild. Spindle, Charkha users and those without equipment are welcome.

The JST Study group meets on the first Wednesday of each month to inspire, encourage, problem solve and enjoy the company of other HWSG members who also members of the JST School of Weaving. We are all at different levels of skill and experience, and welcome new members. The only requirement is a subscription to the JST School on line guild.

This study group will focus on topics that reflect the group members’ interests. All levels of weavers are welcome, no previous experience with weaving rugs is required. Study group participation is limited to guild members as it is one of the benefits of guild membership
