Class/Workshop Description

Instructor: Maxwell Stein Join a 50,000 year old tradition and learn to spin wool on a spinning wheel! You will learn: • Treadling , drafting & spinning techniques • Wheel parts & function • Materials, wool types & processing types • Plying yarn and yarn finishing • Fleece & wool processing • Blending with a drum carder • Spinning with colour. • Using yarn in knitting and weaving Skill level: beginner Dates: 4 classes - Nov 9/16/23/30, 2025 Time: 1 to 4pm Cost: members $190, Non-members $240, includes $40 supply fee. Minimum 5 students, maximum 7 students Last day to register: October 26, 2025

Cancellation Policy

We acknowledge that unforeseen circumstances may arise; regrettably, we cannot provide refunds for our classes and workshops because of our small class sizes and pre-purchased materials. ​ If you are unable to attend a class, you may transfer your spot to another person. If you are unable to find a replacement, please contact registration (link to registration email) as we may have a waitlist and might be able to help you. If the class/workshop is cancelled due to instructor illness, low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances you will be entitled to a full refund.
