A beginner’s weaving class to take you through the basics
Class/Workshop Description
Instructor: Tracy La Rose, Master Weaver This class will take you through the process of winding a warp, dressing the loom, and weaving samplers of plain weave and twill. We will briefly discuss looms, sett, reading patterns, weaving yarns, and finishing your projects. You will have a chance to weave a tea towel in class as well as tackling a small project after your sampler. You will work on 4 shaft table looms most of the time but have the opportunity to weave the tea towel on a floor loom. Equipment and materials will be supplied. Dates: March 22nd, 23rd, and 29th Time: 9:30 am to 3:30 pm Member cost: $300; Non-member cost: $350 Register by March 8th, 2025

Cancellation Policy
We acknowledge that unforeseen circumstances may arise; regrettably, we cannot provide refunds for our classes and workshops because of our small class sizes and pre-purchased materials. If you are unable to attend a class, you may transfer your spot to another person. If you are unable to find a replacement, please contact registration (link to registration email) as we may have a waitlist and might be able to help you. If the class/workshop is cancelled due to instructor illness, low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances you will be entitled to a full refund.
